My diet towards becoming acne free.

I've been reading a ton of reviews on books that have been geared towards getting rid of acne through diets, etc, etc. And it's all the same thing. There's always a link at the end saying, "if you buy my book, you'll be acne free. Now what's your credit card number?" I see this all over and over again.

"I'll tell you how to get rid of acne for free!" (some statements about diet and exercising being proven to get rid of acne) and then leaving the reader without any further tips on how to get rid of their acne. UGH! It is quite frustrating when I think I've found the fountain of youth, but only to be stopped by some guy, that will only permit my admission for my credit card number.

So, I've proposed that all those scams are just not worth reading anymore. And that I'll just develop my own "getting clear skin system." All for myself. Yes how greedy am I, indeed. But if you really think about, look at all those people who have found ways to get rid of acne for free, yet they are making people pay for the information!

Therefore, I am making my very own skin care system. Well, it's in the process right now. I am still unsure if it will work or not, or whether or not I will actually follow my very own regime.

Well, the whole purpose of this is that I advise every one not to fall into those scams. Please, just make your own skin care regime that will just complement your daily habits. And not change your lifestyle so dramatically.

My clear skin regime:

No more chocolate.
-This is actually quite difficult since it is the holidays and there is this big box of Belgium chocolate covered biscuits sitting on the kitchen counter. I think I ate my last white chocolate covered biscuit yesterday...

Eat as much fruits and vegetables as possible.

Eat Ice cream only once a week.

Aim at drinking 9-10 glasses of water a day.

Clean my pillow cover.

Bobby pin all my hair back so no hair touches my face.

Exercise on a regular basis. Get hot and sweaty.

Practice temperance. Only eat until I am no longer hungry. I can no longer overindulge in food. I will only eat the good stuff from now on out. I will eat slowly and savor every tasteful morsel.

As you can see, I don't use external products on my face. I am a believer that factors for acne are all internally. I really don't want my skin to become dependent on Proactive Solution or Neutrogena anyways. And, I cherish my time, I don't want to spend an hour over the sink, only to have a dry face afterward.
