Celebrity Crushes Revisited

Celebrity Crushes from my old blog, Dowdy Gabber.
I am revisiting this blog entry and revising it a bit.
I am adding a lot more celebrities!

Why do famous guys make your heart flutter? There's the fact that you don't know the actor and that actor has no clue who you are, despite this fact, you still desperately want to fall in love with him. You turn on the channel he's starring in and watch his every move. You daydream about these celebs in your 1st period class because you'll get yelled at for falling asleep, so instead, your mind is away fantasizing that you are making out with your crush. You google this crush and he has his own biography and a whole page of pictures. There are several rumors about him. There's an article on US weekly about him. This crush is totally different than the ones you have in your high school. Celebrities... It's usually love at first sight. You fall in love with them one day. Then you catch a new show airing on MTV and then you're madly in love with another star. But one thing is for sure. They can't break your heart. So they're your lovers and they are free to daydream about. Without the dates, kisses, or heartbreak (celebrities case: divorce)

My first crushes that were "famous" were... Omigoodness this is sort of embarrassing to admit. But they were cartoon characters. yes... I started my celebrity gateway crushing when I was young. My favorite TV shows like everyone else in my generation was POKEMON and YU-GI-OH.
Ash Ketchum from Pokemon- I think that's how you spell his name. Well.. this was not madly in love, I just thought he was cute. I think I liked Snorlax more than I liked Ash though...
Seto Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh-I think I was madly in love with this cartoon character...

More cartoon characters. More from Japanese based anime series. This time: Naruto
I think every girl that likes anime (I don't really like anime. The only animes that I watch are Naruto and Samurai Champloo, I stopped watching them recently.) has fallen in love with some anime characters especially Sasuke.
Naruto Anime:
Sasuke
Gaara-Madly in love with this guy. I flirted a lot with this red-haired guy in my PE class because he sort of looked like Gaara. Strange of me, eh?
Kakashi
Shikamaru
Samurai Champloo:
I think I liked Mugen and Jin, but I can't remember.

Now off to the real people. Phew. Got that embarrassing list of crushes away. At least I'm honest.

My first real celebrity crush started with the one and only: Brad Pitt!
You are reading the writings of the Co-owner of the Brad Pitt's Butt Club. The club really didn't set off, but it's still an amazing club! It started out when Brad Pitt showed half of his butt in Troy. Maybe the club should have been called Brad Pitt's Half Butt Club. Well anyways...that was the start of all my celebrity crushes. And here is the list. Please note that this is MY list. You may wonder why some guys are on here, but in some way... I found these guys very attractive. And this is not the WHOLE list. I can't remember all the celebs I had crushes on, which is sad, because this list is already long and you probably think I am crazy for thinking so many guys are sexy. This is just a rough list and I'll continue to add celebs.

Brad Pitt
Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn-ohhh sexy strider)
Blake Shelton
Jason Statham
Daniel Craig
Tom Felton: Draco Malfoy
Robert Pattinson (but only in Harry Potter, NOT in Twilight)
James Franco
Eminem

Ami James from Miami Ink

Brad Bufanda from Cinderella Story: I liked him because he looked like my 4th grade crush
Rupert Grint: Harry Potter
Ryan Eggold: from 90120
Mark Anstice from Mark and Olly.
Nick Jonas: EW now
Kevin Jonas: EW. But not as big of an EW as Nick. (I can't believe he is engaged now, No! Not my favorite Jonas Brother! I was the one that was supposed to take his abstinence ring!)
Sleazy T: He's hot. He is from Bromance (ridiculous show, some sexy men).
Bam Margera:BIG CRUSH
Shia LaBeouf: HUGE CRUSH. I have a life size stand up of him on a motorcycle from Indiana Jones in my room.
Rob Dyrdek: Amazing!
Glomb: From Viva La Bam.
Keanu Reeves
Bradley Cooper: He was so sexy in the Hangover. I just barely noticed him now. He is in so many movies that I've seen and I have never noticed how sexy he is 'til now!
Robert Buckley: I love his body. This was an old crush when the show Lipstick Jungle came out, I think that was the show...
Anderson Cooper: The silver fox is a sexy guy with white hair.
Anthony Bourdain: Sexy guy with gray hair that eats on the Travel Channel.
Thomas Kretchsmann: I thought he was hot in King Kong.
Max Kasch: He was in Holes alongside Shia Labeouf. And Forever Strong- Dreadlocks Guy!!!!
David Wenham: Sexy Faramir!
Willian Fichtner: Sexy Prison Break guy.
Edward Norton: Oh yeah Sexy Hulk.
Paul Walker: Fast and Furious. I'd like to get a ride from him.
Chris "Drama" Pfaff
David Henrie
Nicholas Cage
Paul Rudd
Steve Berra: oh yes. Skateboarders are definitely my type ;)
Scott "Big Cat" Pfaff: Closet geniuses are always so sexyyy.
Michael Dorman: From Daybreakers. SOOOO Attractive!!

I absolutely love the fact that all these men are pretty old. I think the youngest guys may be David Henrie and David Archuleta and they're the guys that I don't like the most! I am just into older men. I will try to revisit this as much as possible because I am pretty sure I am missing a lot of guys!

My Reading List

I took some books off of Steve Pavlina's recommended reading list. I really like his blog and his writings, so I trust his judgment. I am going to try to read as many of these books! I can't write my very own recommended reading list for you because well... I haven't read that many books. Therefore, it's not right for me to make those kinds of judgments. And by the way, my reading list would most likely include such books like Holes by Louis Sachar and the Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R Tolkien. Something else about me and books is that I can't stand reading long books. I didn't even read the last three chapters of Twilight! However, I am training myself to read extremely long texts. I should have read more books when I was younger. TV and the computer prevented that from happening. But I am getting back on the reading train!

These are just a few books I feel that I should read.

INNIES AND OUTTIES: High School Journalism

Innies and Outties: What's in and what's out
Kyy Editorial

OUTTIE:Journalism: the freaking school newspaper.

What the heck did I get myself into?!

I'll tell you my experience with journalism.

I got pressured into taking the class. The teacher asked me to and I had a free class, so I decided that I should give it a try, since I knew a lot of people already in journalism.

The class was not what I expected. There were cliques in the freaking journalism class! And guess which group I belonged to? The outcasts! The people who didn't belong with the other groups and we formed our own little alliance. It was war! Our little clique sent propaganda and we tried to annihilate the freaking class. We just didn't feel like we belonged in the class, so we tried to destroy it.

Our group got no help whatsoever. Our ideas were never chosen. We got topics that we didn't like were assigned to us. And we never got any help with interviewing or writing. We were always stuck and lost.

So I am freaking frustrated right now! Because I am supposed to write about this guy and guess what he doesn't want to be interviewed! And guess what the editor-in-chiefs say to me? "You are still writing this! Contact him again!"

What the freaking heck?!!!!!! And guess what? I even wrote a backup article and guess what they said to me? They asked, "what happened to the other article?! You're supposed to write the other article not this one. This was not the assignment?!"

Seriously? I don't care if it was the assignment or not, it's a better article!!!!!!!

No one even reads the newspaper. I don't even want to read it. Because, why? Because I never get to write about stuff that I want to write about!!! The student body doesn't want to read about these ridiculous boring articles!!!

Gosh I am so mad! I switched out of the class, but I still have two more weeks until the very last issue gets published.

Two assignments for me. I wrote them. They aren't satisfied with it. And they don't even help me out. They just yell at me. The adviser doesn't do anything.

I just don't have any control in this class. UGH! I am so mad! I am just so glad I am venting out my anger here. I am literally pounding on my keyboard right now. I want to punch somebody! I am throwing all the school newspaper in a box and I do not want to see them ever again.

This was seriously not the year to join journalism. Because these freaking people are just in their own groups, caring about their own selves, and not about the team as a whole.

The editor-in-cheifs don't care.

The adviser just sits in his desk and doesn't help either.

I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo mad! Gosh, I wish they read this blog entry. They better read it. They better know how they are treating me.

Gosh, I am just so stressed out with every single issue. I am so glad this is my last one. BYE you freaking journalism class!!!!! I switched out, along with 6 other students, which is obviously half the class. They feel the same way towards the journalism class as I do.

You guys should freaking learn how to run the school newspaper!!!!!!!!!!
Stop making people suffer!

I seriously came into the class believing that I would grow as a writer. But what the heck? Journalism made me not want to write anymore. Seriously? You guys made something that I enjoy doing into freaking misery.

I switch out of the class and they are still going to have a leash around my neck. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Now... I will let this go. And forgot I ever was ever a part of the school newspaper.

Okay, wow. Maybe I should think about these questions more. I am going to take this again when I am not in a rush and when I am actually fully awake.

Look at Marcel Proust's answers when he was 13 years old. He really knows what he's talking about. And his answers seem so much more in-depth and educated. He really knows a lot about himself. And well, I don't. That's the reason I have this blog, so that I can learn more about myself and to share it!

To be separated from Mama.

In the country of the Ideal, or, rather, of my ideal.

To a life deprived of the works of genius.
